One drive through the Country Club neighborhood in Omaha and it is no wonder why this is on everyone’s favorites list. Streets are lined with picturesque turn of the century Tudor homes similar to the one pictured.
Stepping inside a Country Club home is like having a four course meal at your favorite five star restaurant, best enjoyed at a leisure pace. If you look closely you can see the clinker brink exterior, stone tile entrance and quarter sawn mahogany door.
Isn’t ths an awesome room to step into just inside the front entry? The vaulted ceiling is NOT typical in a Tudor home. I have only seen a few homes of this style in Omaha and my guess is they were all built by the same builder.
Remodeling the kitchen in a Tudor style home is challenging. Countertop and cabinet space is at a premium. Extra tall upper cabinets, full extension shelves, and a pantry cabinet help a TON!
You don’t buy one a Tudor home for the bedroom sizes that’s for sure but properly sized furniture can make the space.
If there is any place that deserves your full attention with a sizable budget it’s the second story master suite. Do this right and any home sale will be a breeze.
This is a perfect example of how to finish a challenging basement. The entire focus should simply be on maximizing square feet.
